Cosmos of Twelve Cabinet takes a very ordered form and gives it a more playful surface language. The front is divided into twelve square drawers, each framed in pale blue and centred with a zodiac symbol, so the piece reads almost like a chart laid out in furniture form. What deepens it is the use of Thikri art. The symbols carry the glint and irregularity of hand-cut mirrored work, which brings craft into what could otherwise have felt purely graphic. That contrast is well judged. The grid stays crisp, the colour stays light, and the cylindrical feet give the sideboard cabinet a slightly offbeat finish that suits the piece.
