Asphalt Lamp

Asphalt is defined by its grey-black terracotta base, mottled with pale flecks that read as worn cement dust settled into the clay. The rounded body sits low and weighty, narrowing slightly at the neck before meeting a dark tapered shade that sharpens the silhouette above. Lit from within, the shade casts a warm pool downward, making the roughened base feel even more grounded by contrast. This designer table lamp holds a quiet tension between shadow and light, texture and restraint. The handcrafted finish keeps the speckling irregular, and the surface gently weathered.
