Artemis

Artemis is shaped around the long, lifted silhouette of an ancient pot, its rounded body drawn upward into a narrow neck and framed by two angular handles. Set on a slender metal stand, the earthen terracotta urn feels suspended rather than grounded, with its tapered lower half extending like a pointed vessel resolved in mid-air. Shades of amber, brown, olive, and black move softly across the surface, as if the glaze has been rubbed and thinned by time rather than newly applied. The handcrafted finish keeps the skin visually alive, catching light in muted flashes across the curved body. Within the home, its open mouth allows it to serve as a planter while retaining the quiet gravity of an old amphora.
