Bubble Nebula Floor Lamp

The Bubble Nebula Floor Lamp rises as a vertical cluster of handblown clear glass, each rounded chamber blown into a soft outward swell and then pinched back at its neck, so the whole form reads like a series of luminous bubbles caught in suspension. Set around a central glowing rod, the glass holds the evidence of skilled making in its gathered contours, its thickened rims, and the slight shifts in volume from one orb to the next. When lit, reflections ricochet across the curved skin of each bubble, while the inner source threads light through the column like a bright spine. The powder blue base gives this designer floor lamp a quiet counterweight, letting the artisanal glasswork remain the true event.
