Anaar Lamp

The Anaar Lamp carries the memory of Diwali in a form that feels both festive and finely wrought. Inspired by the anaar firecracker and shaped through the enduring structure of the Kandil, it turns that familiar burst of light into something more lasting. Its clear handblown glass globe is worked into a generous, lantern-like volume, the surface gently wavering with the subtle irregularities that let the artisan’s hand remain visible. At its centre, a jade flame rises with a calm, steady poise, like a spark held before it opens into radiance. Below, slender pink glass drops descend in a precise fringe, their repeated vertical lines recalling the shower of light that gives this designer table lamp its fleeting magic. Brass bands hold these elements in balance, while the colour story of jade, pink, and clear glass lets the piece move between celebration and stillness.
