Arcadia

Arcadia Black is led by its deep charcoal surface, rubbed unevenly so the earthen body reads as both matte and lightly burnished. The form has the broad, contained volume of an old urn, narrowing at the base before swelling into a rounded shoulder and small capped neck. Around the upper body, short horizontal handles sit like pressed clay ridges, adding a quiet architectural line without disturbing the mass. The generous scale gives the planter weight and shadow for a home shaped by darker, grounded materials. Its handcrafted surface shows through in faint abrasions, softened marks, and pale scuffs that break the black into layers of ash, clay, and time.
