The Ambiente

The Ambiente, from Delhi, understands that a rug isn't décor. It's atmosphere underfoot. The studio comes out of India's carpet-weaving heartland and brings that handwoven craft into a contemporary register: considered patterns, controlled colour, a sense of scale that anchors a room instead of filling it. Each piece is made ethically in natural fibres, in a tradition kept alive by thousands of Indian weavers.
