Modernist 97 plays with contrast through large colour blocks and sharp, directional lines. A warm rust field is interrupted by a soft grey form, while black linear paths cut across the surface, bending and turning like a continuous route being traced. The wool surface holds the colours in a rich, even finish, allowing the contrast between rust and grey to stay strong without glare. The handtufted technique keeps the lines clean yet slightly softened at the edges, so the geometry feels balanced rather than rigid. Brought to life through Bhadohi craftsmanship, the artisanal rug carries both precision and a subtle irregularity that comes from being shaped by hand.
