Modernist- 11

Modernist 11 is defined by bold, continuous lines that curve and turn across the surface, creating a network of rounded pathways. The pattern feels graphic yet fluid, with each line maintaining a steady width while shifting direction, giving the rug a sense of movement without breaking its rhythm. The contrast between the soft white ground and the warm yellow forms keeps the design clear but not harsh. In Bhadohi craftsmanship, this kind of motif depends on controlled hand guidance, where each curve is shaped to remain consistent while still retaining slight, natural variation. The handtufted wool surface of this artisanal rug softens the edges of these lines, so they feel embedded rather than sharply outlined.
