About the product
The Shatranj Pencil Set brings a graphic, considered touch to the desktop. Crafted from Kadamb wood, each pencil is finished with a flawless layer of PU, providing a smooth and satisfying feel. The contrast between black and white is a nod to the game of chess, offering a small moment of aesthetic pleasure during the workday. At Casa Carigar, we appreciate these small objects that elevate daily routines through thoughtful design and quality materiality.
The maker
Anantaya
Anantaya Decor works out of Jaipur, in lighting, furniture, tableware, and the small objects that make a room feel personal rather than styled. The techniques are inherited; the editing is contemporary. Tradition here reads as taste, not nostalgia. A room gains texture from it without ever looking arranged.
