Char Pendant

Char is built like a small suspended composition rather than a single shade. The broad outer ring in jute rope sets the widest line, then the inner boucle cone softens it with a paler, cleaner volume, while the lower jute cylinder pulls the form downward again. That layering gives the pendant light its character. It feels balanced, but not predictable. The jute brings dryness, grain, and a more earthen texture, while the boucle introduces a quieter softness at the centre. When lit, the light gathers between those layers and drops through the lower opening in a warmer, more contained glow. Much of its appeal lies in that play of depth, texture, and carefully held proportion.
