Calma Pendant

Calma is composed in tiers, which gives the pendant light a steadier, more architectural presence than a softer woven shade usually would. The natural jute rope is wrapped over a metal frame in stacked cylindrical volumes, so the form feels ordered and tactile at once. In daylight, the surface reads dry, textural, and quietly graphic. Once lit, the rope begins to filter the light more delicately, turning the inner glow into a warm, honeyed wash rather than a harsh source. That contrast between strict geometry and softened illumination is what makes Calma work. It feels thoughtful in construction, calm in mood, and rich in material without appearing overstated.
