Theyyam Table Lamp

Named after Theyyam, the sacred performance tradition of North Kerala, this lamp carries a distinctly ceremonial presence. Crafted in handblown glass, its opaline white body rises through a series of stacked, vessel-like forms, anchored by a solid base and punctuated by two small side spheres that give the silhouette a ritual, totemic rhythm. Above, a clear spherical shade holds the glowing core in suspension, so the light appears both sheltered and radiant. The proportions are calm, the surfaces luminous, and the composition deeply sculptural. This designer table lamp feels less like a decorative object than a contemporary homage to performance, reverence, and living cultural memory.
