Spiral Block

The spiral form gives this wooden block its defining character, turning a simple object into something shaped around movement and texture. Its carved profile draws the eye around the surface rather than towards a single front, allowing the form itself to provide the detail. The simplicity of the block keeps the focus on the shape and the hand behind it. Placed on a console, bookshelf, or side table, it can sit amongst other collected objects without requiring a larger arrangement around it. Its sculptural quality also allows it to work as a solitary object, particularly in a room where timber, stone, and other natural materials are given space to speak for themselves. The spiral introduces enough movement to keep a quieter corner from feeling static. Made in India by Indune, the Spiral Block reflects the studio's interest in simple forms where the material and workmanship remain central.
