Scamozzi Table Lamp

The Scamozzi Table Lamp is shaped with an architectural restraint, yet its beauty lies in the softness of its making. Its handblown glass base spreads low and clear like a still pool, then rises into a long amber neck that narrows and opens with the calm precision of a form drawn slowly on the pipe. The colour sits deepest where the glass thickens, like tea steeping into crystal, before thinning at the flared edge and slipping into transparency below. A white linen shade brings a quiet counterpoint above, while the brass base of this designer table lamp steadies the composition. In the evening, the amber stem reads like a slender column of settling light.
