O Void Chair

The O Void Chair is formed from two intersecting elliptical planes set within a slender mild steel frame. Its seat and back are woven in natural jute, utilising a charpoy-like technique that creates a firm, breathable surface with a graphic waffle pattern. The crossing ovals give this modern lounge chair its open centre and held posture, an homage to Boolean geometry made visible through precise craft. Fine metal legs keep the form light and stackable, while the woven edges clearly show how the jute is pulled, wrapped and anchored around the frame.
