Mukhwaas Supari Napkin Holder

The Mukhwaas Supari Napkin Holder takes a compact semicircular form, with a green-patina brass face set against the darker warmth of wood. Hand-etched through Naqqashi craft, the surface is marked with circular betelnut motifs filled with fine radiating lines, translating the range’s mukhwaas reference into ornament. The curved sides of the brass napkin holder create a narrow central opening for keeping napkins upright at the table without obscuring the patterned front. Inspired by the Indian after-meal snack, the piece carries that dining association through its supari motifs rather than added decoration.
