Monochrome Abstract Terracotta Pot

Monochrome Abstract is defined by its high-contrast surface, where black glaze gathers over earthen terracotta, breaking into white splashes, drips, and scratched lines across the rounded body. The form swells through the belly before tightening at the neck, leaving a pale rim that remains quieter than the motion below. This planter carries a graphic charge into the home through a restless energy reminiscent of Pollock’s art. Ochre and wine-brown notes surface near the base, warming the monochrome palette from beneath. The handcrafted treatment keeps every mark irregular, so the splatter feels fixed in motion, held on clay that is still, weighty, and fully resolved.
