Kathakali Floor Lamp

Named after the classical dance-drama, the Kathakali Floor Lamp turns the drama of performance into a poised composition of handblown glass and brass. At its centre, a tall iridescent cone rises like a pulled flame, its green surface catching violet and silver as reflections travel across the curved skin. On either side, red glass orbs are blown into rounded, watchful forms, their small finials lending the piece a ceremonial sharpness. The brass bowl gathers these elements into a single balanced arrangement, while the circular frame behind reads almost like a halo or stage. When illuminated, light glances off the glass and settles beneath this designer floor lamp, sharpening its theatrical symmetry.
