Empress Floor Lamp

The Empress Floor Lamp builds its presence through proportion, clarity, and a quiet sense of command. Crafted in handblown glass, its tall column rises through a sequence of distinct volumes, culminating in a rounded clear crown that gives the silhouette its queen-like bearing. The deep amber tone gathers gradually through the body, lending the form a richer visual weight as it descends, while the transparency of the upper glass keeps the composition light and poised. A slender brass spine runs through the centre, sharpening the symmetry without hardening it. Sculptural yet restrained, it carries the elegance of a chess piece translated into glass and light.
