Elephant Foot Glaze

Elephant Foot Glaze is shaped by its broad, grounded volume, with earthen terracotta swelling outward before drawing gently inward at the rim. The dark surface moves between smoked brown and near-black, while rubbed patches of warmer clay break through like embers beneath ash. Its wide mouth and generous body give the planter a quiet, weighty presence, held more by proportion than ornament. The handcrafted finish keeps the glaze softly uneven, so light catches in muted shifts across the curved skin rather than settling flat. Dense in silhouette yet calm in surface, it brings a deep, earth-burnished stillness to the home.
