Antique Style Carved Wooden Sandok Chest

This 'sandok' chest brings a tangible sense of history and artisanal skill to a room. Its generous proportions and solid form make it a grounding presence for storage. The chest is an exemplar of fine woodworking from a traditional maker, crafted from solid wood and adorned with detailed carving. A distressed wood finish gives the entire piece a beautiful, time-worn patina, enhancing the depth of the carving and the materiality of the wood. We return to this piece for its timeless appeal, a functional work of art that adds a layer of heritage and soul to a space.
